Last summer we had a leak in the ac - we gased up and it worked fine. Now that it is cold, i keep my heater on 64* , this morning my heater was not working and not warming the house. I raised the thermostat to 70* and still no action. Went outside - frost around the unit and fan not spinning.
I am recently divorced and have no idea where to begin . Any advise would be appreciated::confused:

Switch to emergency heat and call a different repairman.
Get the freon leak repaired and

This could get pricey, if the system is over 10 years old think about replacing it rather than repair, as the remaining expected life span is short.
