Since I've had my periods at 13 years old they have always been heavy, on time, and last for 5-6days. However on the first day that I start it I get very sick, usually vomiting and bad stomach craps. It last for a few hours and then I'm fine the rest of the week. I've missed school and work a lot because of it. Now I'm 21yrs old and last month my period was 2 weeks early and light, this month I have missed my period. I have taken 3 pregnancy test, last one was first thing in the morning and all were negative. I have a disconfort on my left side. I'm just wondering what could be wrong with me or if I should see a doctor yet.

Yes, you should see a doctor. Actually, the nausea and vomiting and the pain that you described should have been checked out by a doctor a long time ago.

Without knowing your medical history or being able to do a physical exam, I hesitate to suggest what could be causing this. Reason being, I would hate to worry you unnecessarily, and, at the same time, I would hate to advise you that it is nothing serious, and you find later that it was indeed serious.

Please contact your doctor. You are sexually active, obviously since you said you took a pregnancy test... When was your last pelvic exam? You should be having one a year.

My last exam was last year. I have talk to doctors about this and they say nothing is wrong, its been this way since I've had periods. Im just scared now and wonder what's wrong or could be wrong.

You say you only took one using first morning urine, correct? How late is your period?

My last period started on Oct 12 and ended on Oct 16 and I haven't started it yet this month. I wasn't for sure if I should just wait a while longer to see a doctor or if I should. I took my last test about 4 days ago. Should I take another pregnancy test?
I do worry about things a lot. I have been stress out lately to about other things. I thought it was maybe my stress but I'm not sure.

If you took a test 4 days ago, I would wait about 3 more days and then test again using first morning urine. If this comes up negative it would be in your best interest to make an appointment for a blood test and an exam. If the blood test comes up negative you will need to find out what is going on.

Understand though, that sometimes mother nature throws us women a curve ball. We can be early, late, or sometimes miss an entire period for no reason.

Have you been under a lot of stress recently? Lost weight? Gained weight? Change in activity level? Sports?

There are quite a few reasons actually that we can miss a period, and only some are listed above.

I have been under stress a lot of stress. Ill take another test in a few days thanks for your help :)

Stress can most definitely mess up your cycle!!
