First off, the phrase is "exsponged" (meaning to remove from your record).Quote:

If you have a lengthy criminal record and are under 18 you may have difficulty persuading a judge to exsponge your record.
If you are over 18 and it is a misdemeanor it will drop off your record in a number of years depending on what state you live in. If it is a felony - it may be permanent (also depending upon the state).
Good luck!
