    Joint Lease
My daughter signed a joint lease with two girls at school. One of the girls has not paid her rent on time or at all for four months. She has also not chipped in for food or paid her portion of the cable, electric or water bill.

There is a balance due by November 30 of 1365.00 or the management company will begin eviction proceedings. This does not include the utilities. I am willing to pay the balance due, but my question is-

WHAT ARE MY LEGAL OPTIONS TO GET HER OUT OF THE APARTMENT?

    Thank you.

First you can't do anything to get her out, she would have to do something. But there is really nothing you can do, expect what the lease says, normally that means finding someone to sublet her share, or pay the rent to the end of the lease. You can of course sue the girl who is not paying,
