The best thing is any of the common brands of dry dog chow, and nothing else. Modern dog chow is carefully formulated to contain the complete and balanced diet dogs need. Adding anything else does more harm than good by messing up the careful balance. Anything else you hear is marketing hype from those selling something. They have no controlled feeding tests to back them up. Keep him lean, see LongLiveYourDog.com - Life Span Study - Rate Your Dog

I want him healthy but I am putting him in weight pulls so I need something to help his bones be stronger and something to help condition him! Ya know like Weight lifters!

How old is he? Dogs shouldn't be subjected to high stress activities until they are a year, maybe 2 years old. Until then, work at conditioning him with low impact exercises, long walks, swimming, and as little running and jumping as you can.

Special diets and supplements work for people only because most of us eat such poor diets in the first place, too much fat and starch. If we even ate as well as dogs eating the cheaper dog chows, we would be better off.
