Hi I bought a tiny 755c10 a couple of years ago and just bought 2x1gb ram, the ram shows up as 512 in each module! I can't find the motherboard maker but its runs off via km400a chip set! Thanks for your help

You could try a BIOS update, but usually if that's all the memory that is being reported, the memory controller on the motherboard isn't going to support any more than that.
Agree with my friend with the spelling fetish. You don't say what type of computer. I mean if it is a P3 or P4. Changes are that the memory controller does not support the chips because they were not around when it was designed. Sorry. Not being able to find the manufacturer is a dead giveaway. No continuity means no support.
You could try and look up a PC or laptop that uses the same VIA chipset and find out what memory configurations they support.
