    Exhaust system.
I drive a 1999 Ford Escort Zx2. I have done quite a lot to it including rims, body kit, intake, a system, and small other things. Im not too familiar with exhaust, I have installed an aftermarket muffler and from the resonator back put in larger pipe. It has a nice deep sound to it. What I'm trying to find out is how it would sound if I were to remove the resonator and replace it with straight pipe.

Did a similar thing with a Dodge Daytona. Like the deeper sounding resonator. Made a custom 2 inch pipe with a 3 inch flare and it sounded pingy and poppy, not nearly as throaty. ENDED UP putting resonator and 3inch pipe back on.
