Y do guys choose their friends over their girlfriends? Just makes no sense.. your girlfriend is the one that gives you love, happiness and is always there for you! Why would you leave her for your friends or choose to be with your friend rather than with her?

Forgive me for the assumption but my guess is that you are young. If I am correct about your age, guys want to hang out with their friends over their girlfriends because, you guessed it, they are young!

In our early years of adulthood, much of our interest and activities are guided by who we hang out with. As we get older, we start to define our priorities on a more individual basis.

If your boyfriend is a full fledged adult, I'd say give him a kick in the pants.

If my assumption is correct and you are both young adults, follow his lead! Hang out with your own friends, it might even make the time that you share together more enjoyable:)

At 19 he is not really interested in much except hanging out with his friends and bragging about his conquests, and sex. As the male matures he will usually migrate away from the bragging and want to hang out with a girl more. Not that he is homosexual or anything, but as we mature we become more interested in long term relationships. Some buys never graduate and are really bad candidates for marriage and family. Others mature at a much earlier age and are ready to settle down by 20. IF you are ready to find a steady boy friend, one who wants to be with you, you might consider moving on from this guy.
