My in laws immigrated here in Feb. 2005 and is living with us. They do not pay for their room, but they help with the household chores. My wife and I are not in good terms for 3 months now. We don't spoke to each other except through e mails. She wants me to leave the house. I gave $600 each month as my share to pay the mortgage. Can I evict my in laws?

What determines whether there is a primary owner or not is what the deed says, not what your wife says.

And no, you cannot evict your inlaws unless you are the sole owner.

I know you wife says she is the "primary owner" but what name/names are on the Deed? Does that mean you both own the property but she considers herself to be primary?

If you think you aren't getting along now, wait until you try to evict her parents! I would think she will claim they are her invited guests and it will only get more complicated!

Don't matter who was earning what at the time of purchase, what matters is how exactly the names are listed on the deed to the property.

If you and your wife are both on the deed, you can not kick them out unless your wife agrees

And there is no way she can evict you either. Without of course filing for divorce and trying to get the house though divorce
