Hi, Im 36 and am trying for a 4th child (I have a 15, 14 and 8 year old), I had a m/c in July and have no luck up to now - I always fall pregnant easily so why am I having trouble now.. when I had the m/c I didn't need a dnc and had a different procedure but was awake but kept moving about - the doctor said if I continue moving Id do some damage I didn't move after that - now that day is playing on my mind, I am awaiting a ultrasound scan on dec 1st, and I'm dreading the thought of being told I cannot have anymore babies, my husband tries to help but I get really upset, they say its harder after 35, but the m/c I had I was 36 and conceived after 4 days trying, I have trouble eating sleeping and day stuff, I was told to try 10-18 days before next period but nothing, Any advise?

Try ovulation sticks, to find the best time to conceive.

Also, the miscarriage could have damage some important things. I would have a full pap before trying again.

And if you cannot conceive, there are MANY children out there with no parents, sitting in orphanages or foster homes waiting for great parents, and siblings!! They would be so lucky to have you.

Pap Smear...

PAP smear, Papanikolaou test, tests for cervical changes. You should have this done yearly once you are sexually active.

Had the ultrasound scan on Dec 1st, showed up everything is fine, have been using the ovulation sticks, nothing yet, I heard you can see if your ovulating by cervical mucus but I haven't any, heard its noticeable after about 3-5 days after Lmp, my Lmp was Nov 20th and nothing, any help?
