I have a 93 Honda prelude with a h2.3 in it the motor is shot,but I would like to know if I can swap out to a smaller motor,maybe a 1.8.I want to junk it,but my girl loves the car. .

My advice is to stick with the engine that came in the car--rebuild or replace with the same engine. Otherwise, there are a host of other problems that arise; e.g. changing ECM, wiring harness, fuse boxes, main relays, etc. Proceed slowly and scope it out carefully. You don't want it to become a money pit.
