    Squeaky Clothes Dryer
I have a horribly squeaky (high pitch, mind altering squeak) Kenmore stackable dryer – model 417-98802890. I have read your other posts about squeaky dryers but the parts mentioned do not seem to exactly correspond to the ones in the parts list I have. I would love to be able to fix this myself, but the dryer is in a pretty tiny closet & I doubt that I can move it much at all – can I do this all from the front? ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!
    Susan

    Hello,

This problem sounds very similar to the problem I had... and yes you will need to "unstack" the units to safely repair the problem. Your problem is possibly the rear drum bearing. This is not very difficult to repair yourself.
