I have served 2 years in the NYSDOC and when I finished my sentence Virginia was suppose to come and pick me up.However I was released on a CR an VA. Did not come get me.I'm still In violation in Va.I would like to know how is this going to effect me.Is VA. At fault for not coming to get me and, can they still violate me.:(

They can come any time they want. Until they do, or until you know they aren't going to, you're going to be living on the edge. If it were me, I'd hire a lawyer in Va.

Yes, they did not want to spend the money to come get you. And may wait till they catch you closer to them. This is not uncommom at all. As a police officer we used to stop people who had warrants on them all the time, but the agency that had the warrant did not want to spend the money to go get the person wo we had to just let them go.

Don't worry they will get you when they want to.
