After reading all the pregnancy questions it makes me worrie how good an implant that is put in your arm is. Has anyone got pregnant while having one of them in there arm?
Is there much chance I could get pregnant or am I safe?

It worked very well for me, but I had mine taken out 11 years ago when it was recalled here in the states. It took me quite a while to get pregnant afterward. But it is very effective for 5 years.

Ahh I have one that's in for 3 years they have stopped the one that's in for 5 years in the uk to. I would have thought it is OK just reading all the post makes me worry! But if I were to get pregent again it would be OK I want more children but no one after another!

I see. I understand that it does take quite a while to get the hormone out of your system. Up to 2 years as a matter of fact. So it is possible, but don't get frustrated trying. It can take a very long time.

You see, the implant, and most birth controls, stop ovulation. It takes quite a long time for your natural hormones to take over and let ovulation occur again.
