I have a 4 or 5 gal. water heater to run 120deg. Water thourgh about 50ft. Of copper line. There is a circulating pump and two relief valves and a one way check valve.The water heater has a relief valve on it also. I want to hook a supply line to this. I have done a lot of my own pluming and ele. But have not messed with this type of system much. Does this help?

I can understand the check valve and the heater relief valve but where are the other two relief valves used? Also, is the "4 or 5 gallon water heater" a instant hot water heater? Are you asking how to connect into the circulating line or where to place the tee? Please explain farther. Tho

Regular water heater and all these items came with this used wax melter. I know I need to run supply line thourgh check valve and then in to loop. I thought perhaps the two other valves were situated in a way to relieve any air pockets that might form. The copper lines do set down in a tank that is about 12" deep. Chuck

As long as there's pressure and a outlet air pockets won't form. And a relief valve wouldn't vent them if it did. One more time, Are you asking how to connect into the circulating line or where to place the tee? Regards, Tom

For your wax melter you want the hotest water available. I would connect the supply tee to the line coming out of the heater , not the return line going back to it.. Good luck, Tom
