    Two weeks notice
Can you be legally terminated for giving two weeks notice?

Without an employment contract, or without a union, in most states yes, it is common practice in many places to let you go when you give notice.

So most likely they can in your case.

Although it sucks... yes. Most states are hire/work @ will. Meaning they can fire you just as quick as they hire you for no reason.

There are some positions where a place does not want a lame duck employee. IT is an example of this. So a company may terminate if you give notice. Its not illegal.
