    Hi All,
I have light brown hair and I have dyed it with a dark brown permanent coloring.
My hair now looks black and it do not look nice.
I look so pale with this dark color.

    Hi.

Dark brown is similar to black so when trying to dye it darker but want some warmth in it. Try to use shades that are a little lighter.

You can buy colour strippers that removes the colour. Hope that helps. It can be purchased from most hair & beauty shops.

If you apply a dark color on lighter hair, it will easily grab the color, making your hair appear even darker. In order to go from black to light brown, you will need to pre-lighten your hair to a level that is lighter than the color you want and then apply the desired color. However, a trained stylist may be able to use a high lift color to achieve results if pre-lightening your hair is not an option. It's best to let a professional do the hair coloring process.
