Try this: LongLostPeople.com - Find Friends, Family, Lost Loves, Classmates, Adoptions
This has helped others and is Free, you can pay more money for more services.
It took me 40 years to find my mom, a method I used was the:
Social Security Location Services. You give them you and your sons name. In my case, they could give her my name and number. But think they would not give me hers to avoid potential problems. Good Luck
    Also try this:
    justin angell - Google Search
There is a site even called Justinangell.com Good Luck

What type of adoption was it.

How were you "forced" to give him up, no one can force anyone to give a child up.

Was it a family arranged adoption, was it though a state welfare agency, a church adoptoin service??

Have you sent and placed letters with the birth records in case he looks for you.

Theere are dozens of adoption search sites, I would recomeend registering with all of them.

Chuck--with all due respect--the coercions that can be placed on a young girl who is scared to begin with CAN be a "forced to give up for adoption" sort of thing.

Parents threaten (you'll be living on the streets, not in MY house), people tell you that you can never do it (how are you going to feed that child?), heck, my boyfriend's parents threated to have me sent to jail if I didn't choose adoption (luckily, *I* knew they were blowing smoke, and chose adoption for other reasons).

Even though you get up in front of a judge to sign those papers, and they ask you several times if you know what you are giving up, and ask you if you are being coerced--anyone can come to the courtroom, most relinquishment courts are open. If the person threatening you can come to court, hear you say you're being coerced--if you're being threatened already, how much greater is that threat if the person threatening you hears you tell a judge that?

Adoption agencies give out information pushing adoption, and there aren't a lot of places out there pushing you to keep your child (or there weren't in 1992, anyway) or places where you could get as much information about keeping your child as you could places that told you how some poor, desperate couple NEEDED your baby to be happy, and wouldn't your child be better off with them?

Coercion comes in many forms, and I fully believe someone when they say they were forced to choose adoption, regardless that LEGALLY you can't make someone choose adoption--it still happens. Women are still forced to make a choice based on what other people want from her, ESPECIALLY if the woman is a teen, still under her parents' roof.
