black -> brown -> red. Now what?
aaargh its so frustrating! I used 2 have such nice hair!

now I seem 2 have lost a lot of confidence because I feel really ugly...

I decided a while back to die my hair dark brown... I bought a hair dye which said dark brown on the box... its actully turned out BLACK! I ddnt know what to do, so the next day I bought a slightly lighter brown and put that on top, it turned a bit reddy...

about a week later I had my hairdresser do a bleach bath on my hair, it then went BRIGHT RED... so she put a brown colour on top... it went quite dark again...

after having a chocloate brown coloured hair I hated it this dark! But the only thing is because it was a week later my roots had startd to show and so wher the bleach had gone 2 my natural colour my roots were blonde and my hair reaaaly dark reddy brown...

some people say get streaks, sum say die it again but lighter brown... but then what do I do about my roots? And what will work best?

please help me someone, I just want to go back to choclate brown!

    Hiya.

You need a higher strength of peroxide to achieve this chocolate brown colour. I think home hair colours tend to have lower levels of peroxide in it. Try to get hold of 12% strength of peroxide (I don't know what that is in volumes, sorry). Mix equal amounts of the peroxide and hair colour (unless manufacturers instructions state otherwise), apply to your mid-lengths first, ends then roots. Leave on according to manufacturers instructions timings. Hope that helps!
