My ex and I have not spoken since the split. We have a son together, were both 25. I have to go to a case conference today to see her. I have had NC since the split and I do not really want to see her. I don't even want to look at her. All of my girlfriends tell me just act like nothing bothers me and that will get to her. Help lol. I really don't want to have to see her.
OMG! Ok, first of all... when you see her, be nice but not overly so -- maintain a sense of professionalism since it's a case. Smile, say hello. Act like you got your sh*t together. Don't let her get to you!
It's a case conference for custody.. every one just keeps telling me don't look at her or nothing.
Well, I don't know your story... but I think that's a little harsh. You don't want her to think your bitter or angry with the decision. Just smile politely, say hi, be professional not overly friendly.Quote:

Well I seen my ex today in the case conference. She seem'd like she didn't care as it should be since she left. But after everything was said and done I walked outside with my mother present and my lawyer and the 3 of us were having a laugh about something that was said and as I was smiling " I also got some of what I wanted in the court; so i was happy" And with a big smile on my face from the 3 of us talking I turned around and my ex was at the entrance still just staring at me walk away and me with a big smile. It was so cereal. I like to analyze things and I mabe looking to far into it but something about it was her watching me walk out of her life and her finally realizing it. . It was just weird how it happen and how it seem;d what she was thinking. Was almost like she realizd I won't be her backup plan.. She started this whole mess in the end of July and I have not spoken or even tried to speak to her since what she has done to me. But the feeling I got when she was staring at me was worth a million words. She might think she is happy but I think she might be starting to realize what she has done.. It wasn't a angry look although it could have been but I know her well and it didn't seem like it... I don't know.. but the look she gave me was a look like " where did we go wrong" "how did it come to this" "how are you walking away from me and not caring" " he is leaving me forever" that is the kind of look I got from her. I don't know mabe it is just me. Im on the healing process so more time and more time..

So you guys think that was a heart stabber for her to see me happy and smiles, when I turned around. It wasn't like I new she was standing there, it was like a movie lol. And the rest of the night I just pondered what she was thinking when that happen

I hate to spoil such a fine party and I know you must feel great the way it played out, but perhaps you should re-read the quote at the bottom of your box... pray for her and wish her the best cause we are all in this boat together:)

I don't blame you for not wanting to see her but it sounds like you have no choice in the matter unless you want to risk contempt of court and a possible default judgement against you and/or an arrest warrant. I'd take the advice that your girlfriends are giving you. Act totally indifferent to her as though she's a stranger. She'll be a lot more bothered by it than you are.
Well here is a great piece of inFO. If anyone knows my story then here it goes, ex cheated on me in the end of July or mabe who knows how long. We broke up in the end of July, we have a 2 yr old son and I just found out that she is engaged to this guy who lives in Florida and she lives in ontario for now. A far as I know they have known each other since July, Aug,sept,oct,nov and there are freaking engaged.. . Im sorry but this just blows my mind. Talk about set back, I was trying to work threw all of my stuff and now this...
I don't know what happened between you two guys,but it seems you did a great job! You know after I decided to leave my ex,I never talk with him,never show him my care,never show him my feeling,no text messages... nothing! And that was really a shoot to him! He still does not believe I could be so "cruel" to him,he still keeps telling others I still love him... I feel a little happy like what you feel now!hahaha...
