Hello. Our house is one of seven that is supplied by a community well. Our property is the highest in elevation and we have very poor water pressure. We have no control over the well pump. We are looking at installing a booster pump in our home, but after searching your site we are wondering if we also need a pressurized tank. We have 19 fixtures in our home and a water softener. Do we need a pump AND a tank? Also, in what configuration should they be installed (e.g. incoming water line, then pump, then tank)? Does it matter if it is before or after the water softener?

Oh, to answer your question, these units all come equipped with a small pressure tank as part of the unit. I don't know if you would want to augment that with an additional, larger tank. I wouldn't think it would hurt anything. I would direct that question to these companies.
