    Worried about my cat
I have a 9 month old kitten who is otherwise active and healthy but I have noticed a reddish pink colour in his urine, he has not yet been spayed. Can any one tell me what this may be and if there is any home remedy cures as I can not afford to take him to the vets:confused:

He MIGHT have an infection. My cat went through this, but his got worst and he became blocked and couldn't urinate my vet told me a lot has to do with their diet and water consumption. Like no dry food, only wet food with high protein and at least 3/4 cups of water a day because the dry food can put them in a constant state of dehydration and they can devolpe infections. Just keep a close eye on him/her and if it does get worst your cat really will need to go to the vet..

You have to find a way to take this cat to the vet. He may die if you do not get him treatment. I am not trying to scare you but a couple of weeks ago a girl had a problem with her cat. The next day she messaged me she had to have him put down. It was to late to save him. UTI's can be deadly and that sounds like what your cat has.
Sell something valuable, borrow the money, get a check cashing loan... but blood in the urine is not good.
If you are in the U.S. they have so many services to get a cat neutered for a very small amount of money, I have been giving people applications to get this done for as little as 25 dollars. Check around... but the UTI needs immediate attention.
