    Solve Radical Equation
    Can someone please help me to solve this equation?

    It is 5(square root of y)=y

    the answer is simple really.5(the square root of y)=y is because y is to the 0 power and anything times the 0 power equals the # you were multiplying or in your case a letter and the square root of y is the same thing as saying the square root of 1 it equals 1 or in your case y... so y divided by y is y times y to the o power =y!!
