One thing you never want to do is compare yourself to other women. It creates a thought in your mind that tells you that you're worse than that woman, and that one, and the next one and will end up in low self-esteem and maybe depression. The reason the rest of your body is toned is because all exercise resulting from work usually involves arms, legs, and back. Stomach exercises (sit-ups, crunches) should help tone your stomach nicely but it is something you need to be dedicated to, not just a one day thing. From now on, when you look at women with smaller stomachs, make that your goal rather than your wish. Good luck!

I don't know what 9 and a half stone actually is in pounds...

But here is a BMI (Body Mass Index) Chart based on the "stone weight".

It could be your digestive system needs cleaned you could have too much acid or candida or something.
I have felt bloated for over a year and finally started cleaning out my digestion system.
I haven't lost much of my stomach yet but I can feel the difference.
You need to change your diet eat more fruit and vegetables yogurt and fiber and drink plenty of water, juices and broth.
Also pineapple and papaya are good for digestive enzymes
Try cleansing your stomach with a digestive detox
A good one contains milk thistle,
Also can contain burdock, clover, slippery elm and other herbs.
You can also try an alkaline for acidity
    Lesson 18 - Acid - Alkaline Balance
And Paul d'arco if you have candida it is good for the immune system even so.

I find Nohelp4u's name ironic, since She is one of the most helpful people on this site. I agree with everything that she said...

And also, like was also said above, do not compare yourself to other women. It's unrealistic, especially if you are comparing yourself with celebrities who have personal trainers and dieticians. And honestly a lot of them also have eating disorders.

You are beautiful... Magazines are made to make women feel bad about themselves... just cut the magazines out... I stopped reading them long ago.
