Frozen water line in ice maker
I know this has been asked several times and I've read the answers there.

I have an Amana side-by-side. After a huge water issue with leaking saddle valve this summer (and after having our entire first floor hardwood replaced!! ), I'm having trouble. They gave me, I believe, a T valve? Whatever the alternative to saddle valve is - that's what they gave me. I have copper line running to the fridge now. I haven't had any issues until now.

Two days ago, I got some frozen fundraiser stuff and my freezer was very full. Yesterday I realized that I had no ice and after digging around (and getting rid of my extra fundraiser stuff), that my ice line was frozen. I pulled off the rubber and metal piece that I could reach and thawed that out. But I can see ice up to that point in the tube. I can't get my hairdryer to reach in there. Any other ideas about how I could get that thawed out?

Where would you think it's frozen at? Is there a better way to go about diagnosing? Do you think it was due to the overpopulation of my freezer? I did have that top shelf pretty well packed and I remember the last time I did that, I had tiny ice particles coming at me when I opened the freezer door. So I'm guessing I can't fill that top shelf up.

I have turned the temp control (previously set at 3) down to 2 overnight and still no ice.

    Thanks!

Sounds like you need to talk to the appliance folk down the hall
