Hi all, I am 5 days late. My last period was on Oct 13. I did three tests and they all were negative. I feel like my periods are coming from last 5 days but nothing yet. We are just trying from last 2-3 months. I was on pills from last 2 years . Please advice what should I do. Should I go and get blood test done or is it too early ? When is the right time to call your doctor ? Thanks

A doctor won't (normally) do a test until you are at least 7 days late. And the HPT are not always accurate early on.

Thanks for the reply. I am just little disappointed and depressed. I want to get pregnant and I was so happy that my periods are late so may be I am pregnant but after getting all negatives answers I am really sad. I don't feel like going out or doing anything. Always feel like that I got my periods but nothing . This is making me crazy. I know am worrying too much . Please some one tell me if they were still pregnant after getting all negative tests.

As NowWhat stated, most doctors tell you to wait until you are a week late before they will do a blood pregnancy test.
You could schedule and appt though, and just cancel if you get your period.

If you are pregnant, your levels of HCG double every 2 days... so you also could wait a few days and take another HPT and make sure you are using your FIRST morning urine to test with.
