    Furance short cycles
I have a carrier 8000 furnace model#58ZAV050-08-serial#3395A20997. In the past ten days the furnace cycles through and run for a while then shuts down.I'm not getting any LED codes. The flame sensor looks good, the high pressure switchseems OK,no indication of a cracked exchanger the flames in the burner don't act funny and jump around. I don't know if it might be the combustion blower or the seliniod in the gas vavle. Can someone help me out please?

You might want o check to make your thermostat isn't opening up and closing otherwise it could be the control board I've had a lot of problems with that board before

Yesterday before I received your answer I installed a digital honeywell stat. The one that I had was round and very old. Last night until 9:00A.M. today it's been working fine. I hope that's all it was . Thanks for your time and answer.
