    Sleepovers Fun?
I am terrified of sleeping at other people's houses, I don't know why. While all my friends are having slumber parties I'm sitting at home playing alone. I really don't know what to do! I really want to sleepover somewhere but I get scared and end up going home, what should I do?

What makes you feel scared? Do you have a hard time getting comfortable sleeping away from home? Do you miss your bed, your things and stuff like that? Does it not feel as safe to you as being at home with your family? Trying to figure out what makes you feel scared might help you get over your fear.

Have you ever hosted a sleepover party at your house? Maybe that might allow you to be a part of sleepovers until you start feeling comfortable with sleeping at someone else's house.

Maybe if you just concentrated on getting closer to one friend, and when you feel you have grown closer and can trust her then try either sleeping at hers or have her sleep at yours. If there’s a few of you maybe you are afraid of having a falling out with any of them when you are away from home.

Are you comfortable travelling with your family and staying in different places?

Have you ever tried sleeping on the floor, say with a sleeping bag, in some other room in your house?

What exactly are you afraid of? You have to articulate it before it can be addressed. "I'm afraid" is just too general.
