Moving washer/dryer hookups
I am installing a stacked washer & dryer in my laundry room. I need to move the water hookup and drain box. It will be on the same wall , I just need to move it over about 3 ft. I was planning on cutting out the drywall to expose the piping and then do whatever is needed to move the hot & cold water lines, and the drain. I read that in order for the drain to work right that it needs a fall of 1/4" per foot. I was going to remove the old utility box and cut the drain pipe off right below it, put on an elbow and run the new drain pipe to the new box put on another elbow and well that's it, I guess.
Can you offer any suggestions?
Thanks for your help
