New weed whacker will not start no matter what, fuel is NOT old...
I have made it my personnal policy that when I have a brand new tool that doesn't perform I take it back as many times as needed until I get one that works. Take it back, have some mixed gas/oil in the car and immediately test the new one they give you. I had two bad Sears leaf blowers in a row before the 3rd one started.
Hey, if you can find a stihl dealer, most of them will fuel up the tank, and give you instructions on starting the equipment and safe operation. We do not sell stihl, but that is what I prefer. I go to the competition and do my business there. Just call it a preference for the better product if you like. But I like my equipment to perform when I get the time to operate it, not work on it first.
