My gas dryer stops after a few minutes and "E1" shows in the time remaining window. I can't find my manual to trouble shoot this. It is a Kenmore Elite series HE3.

Found this on another site that you might get use from...

"E1 code refers to thermisistor malfunction. I have same problem. replace thermisistor easy to do yourself. If you open top of dryer, you will find service manual inside. It will explain the code, and show where to locate therisistor."
