    Safe to lubricate the Inducer?
We were having problems with our Lennox Elite G51. The fan on the inducer seemed to be seized; however, with a little nudging we have it going again but it's making more noise than usual. It looks a bit rusty inside from what we can see through the slots. Is it safe to squirt a bit of WD-40 or another lubricant (recommendations?) in there or will it damage the motor?

On a side note, when we ripped apart the furnace there was water in the inducer, is this normal and if not, what can we fix or check to make it quit happening.

Thanks in advance for any answers!

WD 40 could start on fire don't use that sounds like you need a new inducer if gets to loud check the drains I think they might have a new drain kit to drain the water from the housing of the inducer check with your dealer
