My Comfortmaker Furance (GUG070A012N) will not always kick-in at the set temp level. The Thermostat is verified operational and good.

Most times the heat will kick in, but the fan blower will not run. If I remove the panel and spin the fan manually, sometimes this will engage the fan and the system comes on and will run normal until it has a brainfart and starts acting stupid again.

Could this be the fan limit switch? New Blower fan, bad bearing? Or just a new furnace...

Any suggestions/recommendation are greatly appreciated to help me decide what to do.

Some types of motors when they start to go bad, will start up if moved off a dead spot or even started turning. I am not sure if I ever managed to start a capacitor start motor with a bad capacitor bu spinning it. I think the motor is going bad and you will have to replace it. Turning it shouldn't have any effect on the limit switch.

As I understand your reply, the blower motor (fan motor) is mostly like ready for replacement?

My heater is one year old. It's a hot air Comfortmaker Furnace So far it seems to be working find. But one thing that seems to bother me, is when it is running the air is only lukewarm. Is this the way it's suppose to be.It does bring the house to the temperature that we set the thermostat to.But the air that comes out of the air vents is not that hot is this normal. Or does the heater need to be adjusted to make the air warmer.
