    Water in toilet bowl
How do I raise the water level in the toilet BOWL?
The water level is very low...
The dry bowl constantly needs cleaning...
And my son plugs it frequently...

Won't a higher water level in the bowl provide a greater flush?

Try raising your water level in the tank... You will have to adjust your float to accomplish this by slightly bending its rod. The water should not be high enough to run into the overflow opening and be sure the float assy. Does not rub the tank wall or hit something. Check your adjustment at random over the next few days! "A little bend does a lot!"

I agree, get the water level up to 1/4" short of the top of the overflow tube. Bending the rod only works if you have an oldtime brass ballcock and rod. Today we see more plastic and some with cans instead of ball. Check the top of the ballcock fill valve for a single adjustment screw, back it off 1/2 turn and see what happens.
