Nursing while pregnant with negative HPT?
Has anyone ever been nursing without a period and thought they were pregnant, but had negative HPTs?

Breast feeding causes an increase in certain hormones thus you are not getting your periods. This is actually very common, however, it does not by any means mean that you cannot get pregnant.

So, if you are getting negatives and not getting periods, I would say that this is normal for you.

I breast fed my first for over a year with no period and thought I was safe because I hadn't got pregnant so far. I knew I could even breast feeding and no period and then I ended up pregnant. It does happen that way but you could eventually get pregnant before you stop breast feeding or before you get your period.
