I am a new member in this site and would need some information about marriage, prenancy and delay period since m living away from my family and would need some help.

I got married 8 months ago, I always get my eriod on time with maximum two days delay in some months. My problem is that this month I haven't had my period yet and it's delayed with 8 days and it's the frist time I face such a problem knowing that I'm not woriied or anxied or worried. I checked this morning for pregnance and it was negative and I feel I am pregnant due to few simptoms that indicates pregnany (as I was told by my collegue)

Please advise on the above and if more clearance required don't hesitate to write me back. Thanks in advance. Looking froward to getting a reply at the soonest.

If the period doesn't come in a couple days, test again. If it's still negative, go and see a doctor.

It is possible, if you are pregnant, that your levels of HCG aren't high enough to register positive on a HPT. Your levels double every 2 days, so as Charlotte said, take another test in a few days.
Then request a blood test from your doctor if the results are negative.

Ive had the same thing happen to me every month since I started trying for a baby I've been late where as before it was only a day or 2 now its weeks
