    Taking Daughters Social Security
My son had a collector tell him they were going to garnish his wages(for Student Loan) If he didn't pay $625 and set up a payment plan.he said he didn't have $625. He would try and get it. They then said they would give him until the next day but he needed to set up a payment plan $80 mo would begin next mo. He didn't have check acct. but would ask to use moms (to set up) and he would get acct. Before next mo. Then they could take out of his.he gave my acct. no. then called them back 20 min. later and said he couldn't get $625 so just cancel they said they couldn't they submitted already for 625. He said no that's my moms acct. and its my sisters social security money, they said to late. I called and said no its my acct. and my daughters ss and they said it would go through twice if money wasn't there I called bank explained to them not to let go through I said after that I want nothing to do with it again I said about ss. Then a letter sent to me about payments 5 days later, called again and said I don't want anything to do with again.they said have son call I said OK so today I called my checking acct and they took out 625 which is my daughters ss so I called and said they can't do that. I told them no a week and a half ago that's my daughters ss its not even his acct there saying they can. Please someone help answer

    Hello what:

Well, you've let your son really, really throw you under the bus. I don't know why you did that. Clearly, he's in wayyyy over his head, and apparently, it's wayyyyy over your head too.

    I'd hire a lawyer.
