DM, I don't have medical background but if I may, I want to share an experience that might help you in the future. I know prescription drugs work wonders and for every 10 good reports there is at least one negative. My brother was taking this drug for pain since he has has several surgeries, fusions, damaged nerve from one surgery. He was taking as directed. He was sitting at the breakfast table and barely breathing, couldn't hold on to his glass of milk. Was taken to the ER. The ER doctor made the statement, "I would never put a patient of mine on Oxycodone. Basically, it shuts down the respiratory system." His MD has tried three times since then to get him to get back on it. He has shared his story with him and although generally compliant, let the doctor know he would not fill that Rx. I have not shared this to frighten you or to tell others not to listen to their physician but just as FYI, in case you begin having symptoms to do with the respiratory system. I generally take stories such as mine, of this nature, with a grain of salt realizing that we all react differently to meds but we almost lost my brother that day. I just couldn't sit here when I saw that med question and not share my brother's experience with you. He does not remember hardly anything about that day. We have since been told and have seen information on news casts that Oxycodone is a popular street drug. Just a little worried for you but not trying to say not to take it as I know some meds work wonders for some. Please take this just as a gesture of concern and not saying I have any medical background for giving information on medications.

I hope someone who is qualified is able to answer your question soon. Wishing you good heatlh! (I may be misspelling it, I see it with an 'n' in the spelling at the bottom of the thread. I apologize ahead of time if I have caused any confusion or distress.

This is going to sound so basic it's insulting and I don't mean it that way but is your Doctor checking you for opiates? Most urinalysis testing does not include a drug screen.
