    Moving out of state
My ex has hinted that she might move out of state. She has remarried. Is there anything I can do to prevent her from moving away with our 5 year old girl?

If you have court ordered custody agreement in place. With court ordered visitation, then you can file in court to keep her from moving out of state.

Yes, if you have a court ordered visitation, she will need your consent before moving out of state with the child.

If you don't have a court ordered visitation she could move anytime, so I would be working asap to get one.

Hi I am going through something like that but I am still married and I am wanting to move my kids out of state in hopes that my husband will follow because we live near his controlling mother and all my family lives 18 hours away and the lawyer told me that as long as there was not a divorce in process of as long as we were not divorced that I could move but with you being divorced I don't think she would be able to move
