I have a Kenmore Dryer. 1 1/2 years old it will run but will not heat. Help

The element is prob burnt

If you can use a volt-ammeter, unplug it and take the back off. Check for near 0 ohms on all the little black things with two wires (thermostats) and low ohms on the two tabs coming out of the bottom of the silver heater column at the right (heater coil) One of them is likely to be open.
