91 civic turns off when I stop at traffic lights
It then starts write up also sometimes when I hit the clutch and gas the car chokes and turns off I change spark plugs and air filter

Test/replace the ignitor and coil--AutoZone can do this for free. Also, ensure distributor cap, rotor, and spark plug wires are in good shape.
