I just left this job after working there for almost 6 months. My old boss tried to be nasty and not send me my last check in the mail until a month after I left there. When I received my check she had taking out money out of my check (without my permission) for garnishment. We have never been to court and I didn't owe her any money. A lady that works there now said that she took it out for a co pay for child care. The whole time I worked there she never made me pay a co pay but she decides to take one out for one month out of my last check. When I talked to the childcare council they said that it was illegal for her to do that. What can I do about getting my money back?
