    Lighting cicuits
Hi my name is Jesse and my e-mail is [email protected] . I have a tiffiny ceiling light. It has a three wire set. A negative, a positive and a green wire I suspect is the ground. The negative and positive wires are easy to connect. I am not sure where to attach the green wire, since there are no other wires or evidence to show me where it connects. Do I just ground it against the metal housing of the receptacle box. What should I do. I need a godsend.

It used to be good enough to just ground the box. Code keeps getting tighter. Wouldn't hurt to run a wire to a screw in the housing if it is metal.
