:( I was wondering if someone could give me some advice, I've been to my doctor and explained to him that my husband and I have been trying for a baby for just over a year and that nothing has happened and that my periods have become irregular. After doing a quick examination the dr asked if there was anything that I thought it might be to which I said the only thing was pcos. I now have to go for 2 lots of blood tests one on day 5 of my period and one on day 21 of my cycle only problem is my period is late and the blood test is booked for next Tuesday. What shall I do?

Call the office, let them know you're late. Call back on day one... They will push back your date, I'm sure. They understand that not everyone can pinpoint their start date. Good Luck!

Just call any explain you are late. Since you don't have to get the blood work done until day 5 of your period. Just call as soon as you notice you've started... 5 days will be plenty of time for them to schedule you.

Just to update you I called and spoke to the nurse who advised me that I should cancel the test which she did and to call back on the first day of my period to rebook it. I am now 7 days late.
