I have noticed that there is warm water streaming out of my outside overflow drain. I have not had my AC on for weeks, so why is warm water flowing from the drain on the exterior of the home? Thanks!

Are you sure it'sfrom the AC condensate drain? Sounds more like it's it's coming from the relief valve on your water heater. Do you have a backflow preventer or a check valve installed on your water service? Is your water hotter then usual? Let me know, tom
Yes, it does have a relie valve. Does this mean my hot water heater is about to go out?
Hey Thomas,
All heaters have a T & P ,(temperature and pressure) valve installed on them.
I asked," Do you have a backflow preventer or a check valve installed on your water service? Is your water hotter then usual?" Please answer.
We have determined it's the heater relief valve and not the AC haven't we? No, your heater isn't about to go bad. As long as any heater holds water and doesn't leak it's worth repairing cost wise. If it is the heater you need one of two things. A new T & P valve or a expansion tank installed on the cold water supply. Regards, Tom
