    Urinal not draining
Hi I have a urinal, (American Standard) that will not drain. When you flush, it fills up with water and will not drain. We have checked the drain line and the trap in the urinal and they seem to be clear of any clogs, yet it will not drain. Any idea of what can be going on?

They seem to be clear of clogs but guess what, they are not. If the urinal trap is clear you will likely need to remove the urinal from the wall and do some rodding. People put some strange things in urinals. What type of facility is this building?

Bal's correct about the clogged drain line However, it may be possible to work a small 1/4" snake past the trap and into the drain without pulling the urinal.
    Good luck, Tom
