Me and my boyfriend just signed a lease for 6 months for a trailer. We paid the deposit ,but have not moved in yet or received the keys. The landlord is still getting the place ready for us to move in so we haven't paid the first months rent. We were wondering if we could get out of the lease without any trouble or be able to get our deposit back.

What state do you live in/are you going to live in?

Its doubtful you can get your deposit back and you may be liable for at least first months rent or maybe the whole lease. It depends on the landlord.
