New Aqua Plumb faucet (low pressure)
I have read a lot of the postings and think I know why my new faucet has very low pressure now. I installed the entire new kitchen sink/cabinet this past weekend. It worked fine until yesterday. When I first turn on the hot or cold, it has very little pressure. When I turn the sprayer on and then off, the faucet has good pressure. I think I have gotten some debris in it and the diverter is not going through it's full motion. I removed the spout and checked the O-rings and see the diverter down in it with a plastic part that is screwed into the brass with a black washer ans a brass nipple in the middle. The plastic piece has a six sided female hex shape to it, but I do not have anything to remove it with. Any help to see if I am on the right trial, or how to remove the diverter?
One big problem gone, hello little one.
CASE SOLVED... I replaced the Aqua Plumb with a Delta two handle faucet.
There is a minor problem very similar to a new post to the site. Here is the note from newbie,
"I have a Delta 2 handle 4 hole fixture with a sprayer.
When I turn the hot or cold water handle quickly; water pulsates and makes a 'BAM BAM' sound for a few seconds."
I am going to check the sprayer first and then see why it is thumping/pulsating...
Thanks to everyone for the ideas..
