I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. This past Friday night someone sent me several text messages that were impersonating another sender. They were harassing,also stating false information about my boyfriend. The sender was impersonating my boyfriends ex wife. It was bad. My boyfriend has ended our relationship cause he thinks I sent the messages. Which is impossible. Anyone know if I can take legal action? I do have a phone number. I have hired a PI to get name that goes with the cell phone number. That cost me $600. Haven't got results yet. But I am sure I do know the person. She will say it was a joke. But it sure wasn't. Now I have to do whatever it takes to get my guy back. I know he should trust me,but we haven't been together that long and he has a problem with trust right now. HELP:(

If the numbers came from a different number why won't they believe you?

sounds like a lot of money spent on a PI for about a waste of time, if showing boyfriend that text came from other number did not prove it, nothing will prove it, heck he may have had it sent as an excuse to leave you who knows.
a boy friend who would break up over a text message or two, is not worth keepign anyway.
