I have a single handle Kohler pressure balanced shower valve. Lately, I have a problem turning it off. It just spins past where it should shut off, leaving the hot water on. After jiggling for a while. I hear a vacuum noise and then it shuts off. It is taking longer every day for it to shut off.

Is there a solution?

Yes, you will have to replace the inter body cartridge. First try to tighten the handle if that does not work then replace the cartridge, you can find a cartridge at you're local plumbing supply house. Home depot,Lowe's or haredware stores are very light on kohler parts. Good luck.
